Jackson Elementary School students received a special visit from three Green Bay Packers players on September 15, 2026, as part of an ongoing effort to support students and families through the school’s food pantry.

Packers players John Williams, Nick Niemann and Anthony Campbell joined volunteers from the Packers, Meijer and Jackson Elementary to pack meal kits for the school pantry. The event was part of the Adopt a School Pantry Program, a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Meijer designed to help keep school food pantries and community refrigerators stocked with fresh, nutritious food.

The players worked alongside school and community volunteers to prepare meal kits that will be available to Jackson Elementary families through the school’s food pantry.

The Adopt a School Pantry Program launched in May and supports food pantries and community refrigerators at a dozen local schools. The program builds on the Packers’ previous efforts to support school-based food resources, including sponsoring and stocking community refrigerators at Beaumont and Eisenhower elementary schools and providing funds to Nicolet Elementary School to purchase a community freezer.

At Jackson Elementary, the meal kits will provide families with convenient access to nutritious food and help support students beyond the classroom.

The partnership demonstrates how schools, local businesses and community organizations can work together to help meet the needs of students and families.

Jackson Elementary School thanks the Packers, Meijer and everyone who helped make the meal kit packing event possible.
